Data processing in the NDPS system

  1. The “Notification system for workers who are posted to Latvia” (NDPS) is a national information system managed by the State Labour Inspectorate (SLI), where employers from European Union and European Economic Area countries can fulfil the requirements set out in Section 14.1 (2) of the Labour Law by posting their workers to perform work in Latvia in accordance with national requirements. The NDPS portal provides informational material on the procedure of posting workers, as well as lets submit a notification about the workers to be sent to Latvia.
  2. The data processed in the NDPS portal is as follows:

    2.1. For the employer:

    2.1.1. Natural person: first name, last name, identity document number, address, contact information (phone number, E-mail).

    2.1.2. Legal person: name of the employer, registration number, address, as well as the data for an authorized member or chairperson of the Management Board (first name, last name, address, phone number, E-mail).

    2.2. For the employer representative in Latvia: first name, last name, phone number, E-mail.

    2.3. For the recipient of the service in Latvia:

    2.3.1. Natural person: first name, last name.

    2.3.2. Legal person: name of the service recipient, service recipient registration number.

    2.4. For posted workers: first name, last name, identity document number, issuing country and number of the A1 English language proficiency certificate.

  3. The data is processed and stored for 5 years.
  4. Controller and holder of the NDPS is SLI: https://www.vdi.gov.lv/.
  5. The complete data processing procedure is declared in the General Privacy Policy of the Single Website Platform available on the SLI website: https://www.vdi.gov.lv/lv/privatuma-politika.
